Digital Artwork

Digital art allows me to explore both traditional arts and experimental graphic techniques. I am drawn to transparencies, light, color, and the layering of memories. The digital realm lets me intensify colors, create impossible lighting effects, and layer multiple moments in time onto a single image.

These pieces often start with a photograph of an object, space, or texture that connects to my personal experiences. Through digital manipulation, I can recreate how my memory works—how it brightens certain details, softens edges, and sometimes combines different moments into one vivid recollection.

Digital art allows me to explore both traditional arts and experimental graphic techniques. I am drawn to transparencies, light, color, and the layering of memories. The digital realm lets me intensify colors, create impossible lighting effects, and layer multiple moments in time onto a single image. It’s like digitally building a collage.

These pieces often start with a photograph of an object, space, or textures that connect to those early 80’s experiences that inform much of my work.

Through digital manipulation, I can recreate the way I feel my memory works  The screen becomes another kind of canvas where I can explore memory and nostalgia.
