Works on Paper

Paper holds a preciousness unlike any other medium. These works allow me to embrace the unpredictability of ink and watercolor, transforming simple still life studies into explorations of everyday objects and travel journaling. Each line commits from pen to surface—no erasing, no taking back, just pure intention and curiosity.

Everyday Objects

Objetos Cotidianos

Selected works from my Everyday Objects/Obejtos Cotidinianos series (2014-present). These small works on paper (8.5″ × 5″) capture snapshots of daily life, rethinking the traditional still life with a contemporary eye and spontaneous approach.

Collages

Juxtapositions (Layers)

These double-sided collages are displayed in custom-built frames that let viewers see both sides simultaneously—every layer and texture is visible, nothing hidden.

My dive into collage was a natural progression. I’ve always collected materials across my practice—found papers, textures, fragments. What began as digital layering evolved into hands-on construction with physical materials, leading to relief prints, woodcuts, and ultimately these tactile, three-dimensional collages.

The handcrafted frames reinforce what makes them special: the ability to see the complete architecture of how each piece was built.

Prints

I have explored various printmaking techniques over the years—from intaglio to woodcut to giclée reproductions.

Like most of my work, these prints explore layering to create depth. Each piece finds its ideal form through the process that best serves the image.
